Customer Service Executive – Logistics & Freight Forwarding

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Customer Service Executive to support daily freight forwarding and logistics operations across Singapore. The role involves handling customer enquiries, coordinating shipments, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with customs and international trade regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries on shipment status, vessel ETA, freight charges, and related matters.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and provide prompt, professional support.
• Coordinate shipment activities with customers, overseas agents, and internal teams.
• Prepare, verify, and dispatch shipping documents accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with customs requirements and international trade regulations.
• Enter freight documentation into operational systems and perform data entry tasks.
• Prepare quotations and advise customers on freight rates, tariffs, and operational requirements.
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve operational issues proactively.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics operations.
• Good understanding of international shipping procedures, documentation, and customs regulations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to meet tight deadlines.
