Customer Support Associate

About the role

NHG is looking for a Customer Support Associate to act as the friendly first point of contact for customers, supporting the health and well-being of the community. The office is located at Innovate @Ubi (formerly StarHub Green), just minutes from MacPherson MRT.

Key responsibilities

• Handle enquiries and appointment requests by phone, email and live chat
• Provide timely, accurate and warm service so customers feel heard
• Help people access the healthcare they need through empathetic interactions
• Solve problems by working across departments for smooth issue resolution
• Work as a team player in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to a better customer experience

Required profile

• GCE 'O'/'A' Levels or Polytechnic Diploma
• Willingness to work a 5.25-day week (alternate half-day Saturdays)
• 1 year of customer service, call centre or healthcare experience is a plus
• Ability to converse in Mandarin, Malay or Tamil is highly advantageous for handling non-English speakers
• Candidates with more experience may be considered for a Senior Customer Support Associate position

Required skills

• Clear, confident communication with excellent phone etiquette
• Service-oriented mindset, active listening and a desire to help others
• Proficient typing speed and ability to switch between systems
