Customer Support Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to act as the primary interface between customers and operations, ensuring timely delivery of semiconductor and display equipment in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Translate customer sales orders into device delivery commitments within manufacturing guidelines.
• Process non‑standard requests (NSRs) with Product Line Managers, Product Managers and Engineering.
• Coordinate order shipment status and configuration changes between operations and account teams.
• Communicate commitment status, source inspections and manage order fulfillment from forecast to shipment.
• Prepare clean booking checklists and manage RMA communications.
• Escalate booking or revenue issues to management as needed.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge and experience in order fulfillment and customer support within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to solve complex problems independently and act as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues.
• Strong functional expertise in the discipline and awareness of business best practices.
