Cyber Engineer – CrowdStrike Specialist

About the role

NCS is looking for a Cyber Engineer to lead the assessment, remediation and delivery of CrowdStrike security solutions, including host‑based firewalls, custom IOA, asset discovery, configuration baselines and network equipment vulnerability detection.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing host‑based firewall, custom IOA, asset discovery, configuration baseline and network equipment vulnerability detection scopes, including configuration and log analysis.
• Produce detailed artefacts and reports for each security domain, highlighting findings, gaps, validation results and recommended actions.
• Develop and prioritize remediation and tuning plans, covering configuration updates, false‑positive reductions and rule corrections.
• Establish processes for detecting network equipment vulnerabilities via CrowdStrike and validate findings against CMDB and asset ownership records.
• Provide operational handover guides, troubleshooting procedures and knowledge‑transfer sessions for the Day‑2 Operations team.
• Document testing outcomes with evidence, screenshots and closure status.

Required profile

• Degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems.
• At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure or related technical roles.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls and security architectures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in fast‑paced project environments.
• Singapore citizenship due to project sensitivity.

• CrowdStrike Falcon platform (host‑based firewall, custom IOA, asset discovery, configuration baseline).
• Network equipment vulnerability detection and validation.
• CMDB integration and asset ownership mapping.
• Security policy design, rule tuning and remediation planning.
• Experience with firewall configuration and log analysis.
• CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Administrator (CCFA) preferred.
