Cyber Security Architect and Emerging Technology Lead

About the role

Singtel is seeking a visionary Cyber Security Architect and Emerging Technology Lead to shape the Group’s security architecture strategy. You will embed secure‑by‑design and zero‑trust principles across all technology domains, ensuring that emerging technologies are adopted safely at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the Group Security Architecture vision, roadmap, and guardrails in alignment with business strategy.
• Co‑develop security guardrails and a Security Reference Architecture with the Group Enterprise Architect.
• Translate architectural blueprints into actionable guidance for solution architects and engineering teams.
• Drive Group‑wide alignment of the security technology stack, ensuring rationalisation and interoperability.
• Lead the monthly Security Technology Stack Alignment Forum with OpCo security and architecture leads.
• Support technology modernisation initiatives by embedding secure‑by‑design and zero‑trust concepts.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in security architecture within a large, multi‑entity organisation.
• Strategic foresight to anticipate emerging technology trends and translate them into security patterns.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with enterprise architects, OpCo security teams, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor and design authority at the Group level.
