CyberSecurity Consultant

About the role

Ingram Micro, a global technology company serving the IT sales channel, is hiring a CyberSecurity Consultant in Kallang Bahru. The role is split roughly 70% project delivery and 30% presales support, combining implementation, consulting and customer-facing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and operate cyber security solutions, primarily SIEM/SOC and secondarily PAM, endpoint and EDR products
• Install and configure security stacks from IBM Security, Elastic, Trend Micro and Delinea
• Produce project documentation covering requirements, design, implementation, configuration, use cases/playbooks and operations
• Deliver solution demos and proofs of concept, and lead client meetings to gather requirements
• Translate business processes into technical requirements, designs and data mappings
• Provide presales and architectural support, including scope of work, effort estimates and Statements of Work
• Perform remote and onsite troubleshooting, and collaborate with vendor engineering and support teams
• Support clients under consulting managed support programs and guide them on infrastructure, customisation and integrations
• Hand over knowledge to operations teams

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Security or a related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in cyber security solutions
• 3+ years implementing and consulting in SIEM/SOC, 2+ years in endpoint/EDR
• Experience with enterprise-level PAM, EDR and SIEM platforms
• Project management, technical and presentation skills, and ability to work independently

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of SIEM/SOC and endpoint/EDR (must-have)
• Preferred: prior vendor solution experience and certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CISM, CEH, CCSK
• Preferred: knowledge of ISO 9000, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK and GDPR
• Nice to have: Windows PowerShell scripting, coding in Java/C#/Python, Microsoft and Linux administration and hardening
