Data & AI Product Manager, Data Exploration & Partnerships

About the role

Singapore Tourism Board (STB) uses a data-driven approach to tourism planning and marketing, centred on Stan, a tourism data analytics platform used by internal users and industry stakeholders. As Data and AI Product Manager, you will build the data product roadmap and get hands-on with data and AI products before they scale, within the newly created Data Exploration and Partnerships department, reporting to the Head of Department.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the data product roadmap, write requirements, acceptance criteria and test cases, and build mock or POC dashboards and datasets
• Work with the Stan product team to implement data products, support testing and production verification, and lead product launches and go-to-market plans
• Define the AI roadmap, prioritise use cases, and lead hands-on AI proof-of-concepts, starting with natural language query, including guardrails and evaluation frameworks
• Gather requirements through user journey mapping, collaborate with Data Partnerships and Stan, and streamline end-to-end processes, using tools such as FormSG and Plumber
• Ensure data governance, data quality and compliance for industry-facing data domains
• Manage stakeholders across STB line units, government agencies and industry partners, and explain data and AI concepts clearly
• Support data pilots, define KPIs, and analyse usage patterns and feedback for continuous improvement

Required profile

• Formal training in Business, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience in data product management, data engineering or related roles
• Proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions, with experience evaluating pilots for scalability and productisation
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data quality management and regulatory compliance
• Experience in tourism, hospitality or the public sector is advantageous

Required skills

• Data analytics, data exploration, transformation and dashboard development, including AWS QuickSight
• SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R)
• Hands-on experience prototyping AI use cases, including prompt design and LLM evaluation
• Product management: roadmap development, requirements gathering, UX design and go-to-market execution
• Relevant certifications in product management, data engineering or AI/ML are welcome
