Data Analyst

About the role

The Data Analyst will turn raw data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decisions across the organisation. Working with modern data platforms, you will enable stakeholders to make data‑driven choices.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources using SQL and Databricks.
• Develop and maintain scalable data models and datasets for business intelligence.
• Build interactive dashboards and reports with Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Perform exploratory analysis to uncover patterns, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Automate recurring reporting processes and optimise data workflows.
• Document data definitions, business rules, and reporting logic.

Required skills

• SQL for data querying and transformation.
• Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms.
• Hands‑on Tableau and/or Power BI for dashboard development.
• Python (Pandas, PySpark) for data analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling.
• Data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance expertise.
