Data Center Operations Tech Trainee (6‑month program)

About the role

The Data Center Operations (DCO) Tech Trainee joins a live data‑center environment and spends six months mastering hardware, software/OS, and networking fundamentals. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and physically repair servers and network devices while following strict safety, security, and operational policies.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair server and network equipment during a structured training program.
• Develop working knowledge of hardware, software/OS, and networking fundamentals.
• Use directed workflows and data‑driven analysis to separate hardware from software issues.
• Document technical problems in detail within the ticketing system and follow the correct SOP.
• Safely lift, install, and rack equipment using provided tools, including work in confined spaces or at height.
• Participate in on‑call duties, scheduled maintenance, and change‑management activities after training.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve incidents and stay composed during critical events.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting or repairing computer hardware or networking equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; STEM background preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, pressure‑filled environment while adhering to safety and security policies.
