Data Center Technician – IC1 Level

About the role

As a Data Center Technician (IC1) you will partner with Data Center Leads to ensure the smooth installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers, networking gear, and cabling. Your work will directly support the reliability and performance of Milestone's global data center operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, move, rack, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and cabling.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues using established ticket‑management processes.
• Pull, track, and manage inventory according to documented procedures.
• Perform component replacements such as hard drives, RAM, and motherboards.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to keep inventory systems accurate.
• Support special projects that require physical handling of equipment.
• Execute additional tasks as directed to meet operational goals.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Real ID or other federally accepted ID for U.S. travel.
• Minimum 1 year of general work experience.
• Basic knowledge or hands‑on experience with computer hardware repair.
• Willingness and ability to travel to supported data centers.
