Data Center Technician Lead

About the role

Milestone Technologies is seeking a Data Center Technician Lead to work hands‑on with its Data Center Technicians while also overseeing team performance and operational processes. The role blends technical execution with leadership, ensuring high‑quality service delivery in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Data Center Technicians (IC1 and IC2) during installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with client policies, procedures, timelines, and service change requirements.
• Provide technical direction and training on setup, deployment, and post‑implementation quality assurance.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on servers, networking equipment, and hardware components such as hard drives, RAM, motherboards, and cabling.
• Manage ticket workflows, monitor progress, and guarantee timely resolution.
• Maintain industry best practices and operational standards across all data‑center activities.
