Data Protection Office Off-Cycle Internship

About the role

Pwc’s Data Protection Office is looking for a motivated intern to support its privacy and data protection programme. You will work on day‑to‑day operations, help manage data incidents and contribute to building a strong data‑protection culture across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain records, track data‑related requests and prepare management information for the Data Protection Office.
• Assist in the preliminary assessment and triage of potential data incidents.
• Support investigations, documentation, reporting and follow‑up actions for data incidents or privacy matters.
• Contribute to privacy compliance reviews, awareness activities, process improvements and other team projects.
• Use automation tools where appropriate to monitor activities, identify exceptions and improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Available full‑time from January 2027 to June 2027.
• University student studying law, data governance, data privacy, risk and compliance, business or a related field.
• Clear communicator, collaborative and comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Resilient, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
