Data Protection Office Temporary Assistant (Jan‑Jun 2026)

About the role

Join PwC’s Data Protection Office as a Temporary Assistant from January to June 2026. You will support day‑to‑day operations, contribute to automation initiatives, and assist in data incident investigations, gaining exposure to risk management and data governance within a leading professional services firm.

Key responsibilities

• Support automation operations by executing Splunk automation, monitoring Splunk bot runs, troubleshooting failures, and proposing improvements to playbooks/runbooks.
• Perform pre‑investigation triage of Splunk bot exceptions.
• Assist with investigations of data incidents or privacy complaints, including reporting and remedial actions.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc projects as required.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in data governance, data privacy, data risk and compliance, or IT security.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Resilient, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Effective communication skills in English.
