Deputy / Assistant Manager, Contracts (Systems & Services)

About the role

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is hiring a Deputy / Assistant Manager for its Contracts (P&C) unit, covering IT and other systems, transport systems and electrical and mechanical services. You will ensure that contract governance and all tender and contract administration processes comply with LTA's requirements and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for new projects, initiatives and feasibility studies
• Draft tender documents and evaluate tenders
• Administer contracts, including processing payments, valuing variations and assessing claims
• Provide contractual advice to project teams

Required profile

• Knowledge of computer, electrical, electronics, information technology, mechanical or systems engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in contract administration or project management of multi-disciplinary engineering projects is preferred
• Good knowledge of conditions of contract for IT, engineering or construction projects is preferred
• Organised and meticulous, able to work independently
• Strong written, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• A team player who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
