Deputy Manager, Conservation & Urban Design

About the role

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join the Architecture & Land Planning Division and lead architectural conservation and urban design strategies for the Greater Sentosa Master Plan and related initiatives. The role involves shaping heritage‑related developments, coordinating with planning agencies, and ensuring alignment with broader waterfront plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver architecture and conservation urban design strategies for the Greater Sentosa Master Plan.
• Coordinate with planning and technical agencies to align conservation work with national and regional policies.
• Plan, conduct, and evaluate heritage research, impact assessments, conservation management, and adaptive‑reuse projects for sites such as Fort Siloso National Monument and the Sentosa Conservation Precinct.
• Contribute to the creation and evaluation of urban design guidelines for all parcels, including development plots, infrastructure, and public realm spaces.
• Establish and implement integrative development plans that consider tourism, sustainable transport, heritage sensitivity, green and blue spaces, and coastal protection.
• Review tenancy development and redevelopment submissions to ensure consistency with conservation principles and urban design standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, architects, planners, urban designers, and engineers to execute the masterplan vision.
• Manage stakeholder engagements, regulatory approvals, budget unlocking, tender processes, and phasing timelines.
