Design Engineer (AutoCAD Draftsman)

About the role
We are looking for an AutoCAD Draftsman to prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the projects assigned to them. The role reports to the Technology Director in the Energy Team and will support the delivery of engineering designs.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with system engineers to gather specifications and supplier documentation needed for drawing production.
- Convert sketches provided by system engineers into detailed technical drawings.
- Create AutoCAD drawings for equipment dimensions, block diagrams, and wiring diagrams for telecommunications and security equipment.
- Produce and maintain 2‑D diagrams and line drawings in accordance with project standards.
- Manage project submissions to ensure timely delivery for tenders and implementation phases.
- Perform any other ad‑hoc tasks related to business needs as required.
Required profile
- Proficient with AutoCAD.
- Experience in the marine, oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with electrical drawings is preferred.
