Desk Assistant – Global Broking

About the role

This entry‑level Desk Assistant position supports the Global Broking desk at TP ICAP. You will receive on‑the‑job training and gain exposure to fast‑moving financial markets while working closely with brokers and traders.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the TP ICAP brand and ensure accurate, timely input of trades into internal systems.
• Resolve internal and external trade queries and address any discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain up‑to‑date trade records and update real‑time electronic whiteboards with market data.
• Provide daily trade details to brokers and traders and assist with various desk projects.
• Perform general administrative duties across the desk.
• Monitor markets, financial news, and geopolitical events that may impact trading activity.

Required profile

• Strong interest in financial markets and the broader economy.
• High level of computer competence and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining composure.
• Detail‑oriented, trustworthy, and able to build internal and external relationships.
• Team player who can work autonomously when needed.
