Desktop Support Engineer – Contract

About the role

The Desktop Support Engineer will act as the first point of contact for end‑users, delivering prompt assistance on a wide range of IT topics. You will ensure that software, licences and operations meet company standards and are delivered in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, prioritize, document and resolve end‑user help requests, escalating incidents when necessary to meet SLA expectations.
• Perform imaging and re‑imaging of workstations.
• Conduct asset inventories and maintain accurate records.
• Escalate technical issues to third‑party vendors or resolver groups as required.
• Update incident records and create or revise work instructions and standard procedures.
• Carry out any ad‑hoc tasks relevant to the role.

Required profile

• ITE/Diploma graduate with at least 1 year of desktop support experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365.
• Possess at least one certification such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Client or Microsoft Certified: Managing Modern Desktops.
• Previous IT help‑desk or call‑centre experience, including remote support via telephone or remote tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication, coordination and prioritisation skills.

What we offer

• Contract position (Junior Executive level).
• Salary range SGD 3,000 – 3,700 per month.
• On‑site work at our Marina Bay office in Singapore.
