DevOps and CRM Engineer

About the role

As a DevOps & Application Engineer you will own the build‑and‑release pipeline and contribute production‑grade code for customer‑facing platforms. The hybrid role blends infrastructure automation, Kubernetes operations, CI/CD design, AWS provisioning and hands‑on software development.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce DevOps policies, championing trunk‑based development and automated quality gates.
• Design, develop and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines using Pipeline‑as‑Code (shared libraries, scripted & declarative).
• Write and manage build scripts and automation tooling in Shell, Python and Groovy.
• Administer multi‑cluster Kubernetes environments (EKS & OCP), including Helm chart creation, RBAC, network policies and autoscaling.
• Tune PostgreSQL for performance, HA and disaster recovery, using logical replication and pgBackRest.
• Implement GitOps workflows with Argo CD or Flux for reproducible deployments.
• Provision and manage AWS resources (EKS, RDS/PostgreSQL, EC2, S3, IAM) and maintain IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Contribute application code in Python, Go or TypeScript and participate in design reviews.
• Establish observability using Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch and incident‑response tools (PagerDuty, VictorOps).
• Produce technical documentation and transfer knowledge to internal teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years of combined DevOps, SRE or software engineering experience.
• Strong background in containerised environments, Kubernetes internals and Helm.
• Hands‑on production experience with Jenkins and CI/CD best practices.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go or TypeScript).
• Solid SQL expertise with proven PostgreSQL administration.
• Deep understanding of core AWS services, IAM security and cost optimisation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and Linux networking.
• Agile mindset with experience working in Scrum teams.
