DevOps Engineer, Data & AI, Technology Consulting

About the role

EY AI & Data, the data and advanced analytics capability within EY Asia-Pacific, is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Senior Associate) for its Technology Consulting practice. The role focuses on delivering Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) projects for Singapore government agencies and ministries, with hands-on work on SHIP-HATS frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and secure application deployment in GCC environments.
• Lead or contribute to end-to-end DevOps projects for Singapore government agencies or ministries.
• Implement and enhance solutions aligned with SHIP-HATS compliance standards.
• Work with application teams, architects and security specialists on cloud-native and container-based applications.
• Troubleshoot, monitor and tune DevOps toolchains and infrastructure.
• Document solutions, write deployment guides and support knowledge transfer to client or internal teams.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of DevOps experience, with senior-level contributions in at least 1-2 GCC projects involving Singapore government agencies.
• Strong experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical experience with the SHIP-HATS framework.
• Familiarity with security best practices in government cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills and familiarity with agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and Ansible (or similar).
• Certified in AWS and/or Talend.
