DevOps Engineer

About the role

We have a great opportunity for a talented and self‑motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will work with cross‑functional Development, Infra and Product teams to deliver automated, reliable and scalable deployment solutions that meet the needs of multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Development, Infra and Product teams to ensure successful delivery, maintenance planning and resolution of build errors.
• Monitor, backup, deploy and maintain systems on a daily basis.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins pipelines, GitLab) and automated testing frameworks.
• Develop scripts and programs for service monitoring, health checks and alerting.
• Automate and scale environments using Kubernetes, containers and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation) following a GitOps approach.
• Implement security hardening throughout testing, deployment and production based on industry best practices.
• Provide technical insights for solution design and promote a DevOps culture across the organisation.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve abstract system‑administration issues independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce clear documentation and guides.
• Self‑starter who can prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS (EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.), GCP, Azure.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab, Nexus, Maven, Spinnaker.
• Containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Ansible (AWX/Tower), Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet.
• Monitoring and observability: Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Jaeger, OpenTracing, AWS X‑ray.
• Scripting languages: Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Groovy.
• System administration on Ubuntu/Debian Linux.
• Security tools and practices (DevSecOps, Vault).
