DevOps Engineer

About the role

Temus is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join its Cloud Engineering team in Singapore. The role involves designing, building, automating and operating secure, scalable and highly‑available cloud platforms for public and private sector clients. You will work closely with architects, software engineers, QA and security teams to embed modern DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
• Build and manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automate provisioning with Ansible.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, integrating testing and security scanning.
• Configure cloud networking components (VPC/VNet, subnets, load balancers, firewalls) and implement service‑mesh solutions such as Istio.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana or Splunk.
• Optimize performance and cost, conduct capacity planning and support incident resolution.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in cloud engineering, DevOps or SRE roles.
• Proven experience with AWS, Azure or GCP services and networking.
• Strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
