DevOps Engineer – Singapore

About the role

ASTEK is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its Singapore team. You will design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that support the full software delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop software utilities and automation tools for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Collaborate with development teams to build CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Stay current with emerging DevOps technologies and contribute to improving the DevOps culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX platforms and database systems such as SQL, Oracle, Sybase, and Big Data technologies.
• Experience with automation frameworks and libraries.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with AI‑powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and a willingness to learn prompt engineering and responsible AI usage.
