DevOps Engineer – StackOps (Incident Management)

About the role

WEBSPARKS is looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to join its Central Enablement Team and build the enterprise "Resiliency‑as‑a‑Service" platform for a whole‑of‑government initiative. You will design, code and deploy automated infrastructure, toolchains and workflows that help engineering teams manage incidents and minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer "Resiliency‑as‑Code" using Pulumi/Terraform to create self‑service onboarding portals and APIs for standardized monitoring and incident workflows.
• Develop and maintain API integrations and webhooks between observability platforms (Elasticsearch, AWS/Azure native tools, Dynatrace) and Jira Service Management.
• Implement AIOps capabilities, write automation scripts (Python, Go, Node.js) for auto‑remediation and integrate AI‑driven incident summarisation into JSM.
• Ensure platform reliability, build CI/CD pipelines for configuration changes, and provide consultation to users.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in DevOps, Software Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering, preferably in a central platform or internal developer platform team.
• Strong background in building scalable, automated infrastructure and incident‑management solutions.
