DevSecOps Engineer – CI/CD & Cloud Automation

About the role

Avensys is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join a client project in Singapore on a 1‑year extendable contract. You will design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, ensuring security and reliability across multiple environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, delivery and deployment.
• Automate routine infrastructure tasks with a focus on reuse and modularity.
• Develop and maintain Terraform code for infrastructure‑as‑code across AWS deployments.
• Deploy and configure complex systems using IaaS, PaaS and SaaS technologies.
• Produce architecture and configuration plans covering compute, storage, networking, identity, security and management.

Required profile

• Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in DevSecOps or cloud infrastructure management.
• Hands‑on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services such as ECS, ECR, Aurora, WAF, Network Firewall, Transit Gateway, ALB, NLB, EC2 and Lambda.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash.
• Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and security scanning tools.
