DevSecOps Engineer (IAM)

About the role

Assurity Trusted Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GovTech, is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer (IAM) in Singapore for a 2-year direct contract. The role combines CI/CD pipeline management, cloud infrastructure administration and security practices across the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for continuous integration, delivery and deployment.
• Develop and maintain automated scripts and tools, including SCA (Software Composition Analysis) and container scanning.
• Manage and optimise AWS services such as ECS, ECR, Aurora, WAF, Network Firewall, Transit Gateway, ALB and NLB.
• Implement security best practices in cloud environments, covering identity management, logging, monitoring and incident response.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle.
• Run regular security assessments, vulnerability scans and penetration tests, and monitor and respond to security incidents in real time.

Required profile

• Information Technology degree or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in DevSecOps and/or cloud services management and deployment, with a strong focus on AWS and/or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with security tools and practices such as SCA, container scanning and penetration testing.
• Preferred: Associate-level AWS certification (e.g. AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Developer); Azure certifications (e.g. SC-300, AZ-104) are good to have.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AWS services (ECS, ECR, Aurora, WAF, Network Firewall, Transit Gateway, ALB, NLB).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good to have: MS Entra, MS Graph API, Node.js, MongoDB, AWS Lambda (Python serverless), GCC-2.0, Terraform or CloudFormation, and a background in secure coding.
