DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

The DevSecOps Engineer will design, automate, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Working in an agile, collaborative environment, you will embed security into development workflows and ensure robust operations across data‑center and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop automation and processes for deploying, managing, scaling, and monitoring applications in data‑centers and cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot system and application issues, participate in on‑call escalations for critical incidents.
• Own end‑to‑end infrastructure and security solutions across the organization.
• Deploy and manage monitoring tools to track performance, utilization, and health.
• Implement configuration management, business continuity, and disaster‑recovery automation.
• Provision VMs, databases, containers, and licenses for development teams.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines with streamlined change‑management processes.
• Develop scripts and automation tools for build, integration, and deployment.
• Design, build, and optimize automation systems to eliminate bottlenecks and maximize availability.
• Plan, implement, and monitor security architecture, perform vulnerability assessments, system hardening, and incident response.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
• Passion for automation, standardisation, and security best practices.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, TDD, CI, and CD.
• Experience with high‑availability, high‑performance, multi‑data‑center and hybrid‑cloud environments.

Required skills

• Bash, PowerShell, Python, Go scripting.
• Git with modern branching workflows.
• Public cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tools: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Vagrant.
• Virtualisation: KVM, VMware, Hyper‑V.
• Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes.
