Diagnostic Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Diagnostic Engineer to join our team and help develop the Diagnostic Expert System (DES), a software tool that guides users in troubleshooting vehicle system failures and maximizes fleet readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Gain deep knowledge of vehicle platforms and conduct failure analysis to pinpoint root causes.
• Create detailed troubleshooting procedures and diagnostic workflows for identified failures.
• Work closely with system designers, engineers, and end‑users to validate and obtain acceptance of diagnostic solutions.
• Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery of DES modules.
• Stay current on automotive technologies, diagnostic methods, and industry trends.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive or related).
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
• Experience with failure analysis, root‑cause analysis or similar troubleshooting methodologies.
• Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, structured procedures.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with automotive electronics, CAN bus and embedded systems.
• Knowledge of structured troubleshooting frameworks and technical documentation standards.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
• Effective stakeholder management and proven project‑management ability.
• Continuous learning mindset.
