Digital Design Engineer (Graduate)

About the role

Analog Devices (ADI) is hiring a Digital Design Engineer in Kallang, open to fresh graduates. The role sits within digital/mixed-signal IC product design, working on chip and block-level RTL design, digital signal processing blocks and digital architecture. The company describes itself as a global semiconductor leader combining analog, digital, AI and software technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in digital/mixed-signal IC product design.
• Perform chip/block-level RTL design and implementation.
• Design digital signal processing blocks based on algorithms, translating system and algorithm requirements into robust digital implementations.
• Define digital architecture according to product specifications.
• Support block and system-level digital and mixed-signal simulation.
• Contribute to block- and system-level digital/mixed-signal testbench development.

Required profile

• MSEE or PhD in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of digital logic design and implementation.
• Solid knowledge of computer architecture and digital signal processing.
• In-depth understanding of CPU/DSP/NPU design.
• Understanding of digital verification methodologies.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented, with strong teamwork and communication skills, excellent problem-solving ability and good spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Familiarity with AXI/AHB/APB and other advanced bus protocols is a plus.
• Familiarity with SRAM/Flash/SDRAM/DDR memory and cache design is a plus.
• Proficiency with AI-powered tools to improve work efficiency is a plus.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Perl, Tcl, C shell) are a plus.
