Director, CSAME Segment FP&A

About the role

Carrier Global Corporation is hiring a Director, FP&A for its CSAME segment (Climate Solutions Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa), based in Singapore. Reporting to the VP, CSAME Finance, the Director shapes financial strategy, enables data-driven decisions and drives sustainable performance across a complex, multi-country matrix. The role leads long-range planning, annual operating plans, forecasting, performance management, and monthly and quarterly business reviews, and acts as a trusted partner to regional business and finance leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the regional FP&A agenda: long-range planning, annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, scenario modeling and target setting aligned with CSAME priorities.
• Own monthly and quarterly business reviews, delivering analysis of results, drivers, risks, opportunities and corrective actions.
• Serve as a finance partner to regional and business leaders, supporting profitable growth, cash generation and productivity.
• Translate complex financial and operational data into concise insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Set up mechanisms to identify, quantify, track and mitigate financial risks while capturing upside opportunities.
• Partner with the broader FP&A organization to simplify and standardize processes, strengthen governance, improve forecast accuracy and advance automation, analytics and centralization.
• Ensure planning, reporting and performance management are timely, accurate and consistent with company policies.
• Build and lead a high-performing regional FP&A organization, including an FP&A Center of Excellence, capability development, succession planning and performance feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline; MBA, CPA, CMA or equivalent preferred.
• Typically 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant FP&A leadership in a large, complex global organization.
• Proven track record of FP&A transformation, process standardization, digital enablement and operational improvement.
• Experience operating across multiple countries and cultures in a highly matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated people leadership, including building diverse teams and developing talent.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modeling and data analysis.
• Enterprise planning, ERP, business intelligence and reporting platforms (preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, executive presence and stakeholder-management skills.
