Director, Global Corporates Transaction Banking Sales – APAC

About the role

MUFG Bank, Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Director for Global Corporate Transaction Banking Sales to join its Singapore branch. You will lead transaction banking sales across cash and liquidity management, as well as trade and supply chain finance, for multinational clients across Asia-Pacific, and shape strategic initiatives with a supportive leadership structure.

Key responsibilities

• Spearhead transaction banking sales initiatives and develop strategies to meet aggressive regional revenue targets in cash and liquidity management and trade and supply chain finance.
• Design and execute action plans to increase product penetration and wallet share among identified multinational corporate clients.
• Act as a subject matter expert in cash management and trade finance, identifying emerging market trends and capturing new business.
• Lead high-level conversations with corporate treasurers, manage complex regional RFPs and deliver multi-country pitches.
• Advise clients on working capital optimisation and liquidity management, and anticipate shifting customer expectations.
• Work with Regional Coverage teams, Relationship Managers, Global Markets specialists and Product Development to deliver a unified client experience.
• Prepare presentation materials for senior customers, review deal proposals for strategy, pricing, risk and service quality, and stay current on industry trends, products, laws and regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum of ten years' experience in banking, with at least five years in transaction banking sales at top-tier global institutions.
• Proven track record working directly with Regional Treasury Centres of multinational clients across Asia-Pacific.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of cash management and trade and supply chain finance products for large corporates.
• Experience managing complex deals, including regional RFPs and multi-country pitches.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and advanced analytical skills.
• Strong awareness of regulatory frameworks governing transaction banking.
