Director, Head of Regional Procurement & TPM Team

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group is seeking a senior leader to head regional procurement and third‑party management (TPM) across APAC. The role will drive governance, strategy execution and operational excellence for both functions, ensuring alignment with global policies and local regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Establish integrated governance for procurement and TPM, applying global sourcing, TPRM and outsourcing policies across APAC.
• Maintain compliance with local regulators such as MAS, HKMA, APRA and JFSA.
• Standardise due‑diligence processes, contract templates, SLA/KPI frameworks and supplier assessment criteria.
• Provide regional oversight of third‑party risks (operational, cyber, resilience, concentration) and report risk posture to management committees.
• Govern contract review, commercial term optimisation and coordinate with Legal.
• Develop and execute regional procurement strategies, lead deployment of procurement systems and drive cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Build and operate the offshore MGS organisation and manage the APAC TPM operating model.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in procurement and third‑party risk management within a financial services environment.
• Deep knowledge of APAC regulatory frameworks (MAS, HKMA, APRA, JFSA) and ability to ensure compliance.
• Strong governance and change‑management capabilities, with a track record of implementing regional operating models.
