Investment Director – Relocate to Dubai

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based investment firm seeking an Investment Director to lead research and manage the end‑to‑end investment process. The role offers high autonomy, deep market exposure and the opportunity to shape our diversified portfolio across alternative strategies and direct investments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead due‑diligence on investment opportunities across multiple strategies and geographies, evaluating performance, risk metrics and team capabilities.
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with managers to monitor strategy evolution, performance attribution and organisational stability.
• Coordinate the full due‑diligence lifecycle with internal teams, track progress and deliver timely updates.
• Synthesize findings into comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Conduct macroeconomic and market analysis, interpreting central bank policy, geopolitical events and emerging trends to inform portfolio positioning.
• Produce actionable insights and periodic briefs for senior leadership.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of professional experience in investment management, research, portfolio management or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex financial instruments.
• Exceptional research, written communication and project coordination abilities.
• Professional certifications such as CFA or CAIA are preferred.

Required skills

• Python programming for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
• Additional programming skills (e.g., R, SQL) are a plus.
