Director / Head of Supply Chain

About the role

The Director/Head of Supply Chain will lead the Supply Chain function for our Singapore operation, shaping global and regional strategies that drive growth, resilience and customer performance. Reporting to senior leadership, you will partner with cross‑functional teams to accelerate digital transformation, improve visibility and embed sustainability across the end‑to‑end supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead both operational and strategic supply chain activities to boost resilience, service performance, cost efficiency and scalability.
• Coach, develop and succession‑plan a high‑performing team with future‑ready capabilities.
• Establish and manage strategic supplier and partner relationships ensuring continuity, quality, competitiveness and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on new product introductions, margin improvement and working‑capital optimisation.
• Monitor, report and act on key supply chain performance metrics.
• Drive digitalisation and continuous‑improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
• Champion sustainable and responsible supply chain practices.
• Identify and mitigate regional and global supply risks, including geopolitical and operational disruptions, and implement business‑continuity plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business or related field; Master’s degree and professional certifications are a plus.
• 10‑15 years of progressive experience in regional and global sourcing, supplier management and procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record managing supply chain operations with annual spend in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
• Successful experience leading supply chain transformation, process improvement and cost optimisation.
• Strong commercial acumen, contract negotiation expertise and stakeholder‑engagement skills across multiple functions and countries.
• Deep understanding of risk management, business continuity, trade compliance and ESG considerations.
• Data‑driven mindset capable of turning operational data into executive‑level insights and recommendations.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma certification and practical application.
