Director / Managing Director - Structured Finance

About the role

The Strategic Capital Solutions, Director/MD role leads client engagement and project execution in a structured finance or corporate finance setting. It suits a firm specialising in structured finance, corporate turnaround and value creation, with clients across Southeast Asia. The Director reports to a partner, oversees junior professionals and takes part in direct client interaction, including virtual meetings and possibly in-person work and overseas travel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pitches and manage project execution from scoping to delivery within structured or corporate finance.
• Build and manage client relationships, especially in the Southeast Asia region.
• Develop solutions by combining several competencies to meet client needs.
• Manage day-to-day client communications proactively.
• Shape and deliver client projects that exceed expectations.
• Train and coach the team and contribute to team strategy.
• Identify business growth opportunities through networking and collaboration.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience in structured finance, corporate finance, turnaround or value creation of 12 years or more, covering all phases from pitching to execution.
• Experience with regional clients; experience with global funds or credit roles within investment banks, advisory or boutiques is an advantage.
