Director of Project & Construction Management (A&A)

About the role

The Director, Project and Construction Management (A&A) will act as a senior delivery leader, supporting the Executive Director in scaling delivery capacity across a growing portfolio of projects at Marina Bay Sands. This hands‑on role combines strategic guidance, mentorship and direct ownership of key construction and fit‑out projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior delivery guidance and practical support to project managers, construction managers and other delivery team members.
• Translate portfolio priorities into clear project direction, coordinate delivery and resolve escalated issues.
• Mentor and coach staff, sharing knowledge and managing complex project situations and stakeholder matters.
• Strengthen project governance by establishing programmes, milestones, reporting cadence, escalation protocols and risk controls.
• Support early‑stage planning and pre‑construction reviews, ensuring design, tender, procurement, logistics and phasing considerations are addressed.
• Review schedules, budgets, change management, quality, safety and stakeholder coordination to ensure consistent reporting and early issue identification.
• Promote consistency in documentation, communications, approvals, quality assurance and contractor performance management.
• Take ownership of selected key A&A projects, overseeing execution from inception through close‑out.

Required profile

• Extensive experience delivering large‑scale construction and fit‑out projects.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary project delivery teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
• Track record of implementing robust project controls, risk management and escalation processes.
• Capability to translate strategic portfolio goals into actionable project plans.
