Director of Residences

About the role

The Director of Residences will lead the management of a luxury condominium, overseeing all operational, financial, and service aspects to protect and enhance the property’s value. Reporting directly to the Board, this senior role ensures high standards of safety, privacy, and owner satisfaction while aligning with the brand’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an operational strategy that supports the brand’s business goals.
• Monitor financial performance, prepare reports and projections for the Board.
• Oversee all building departments, including physical plant, engineering, housekeeping, and security.
• Conduct regular walk‑throughs and inspections to ensure maintenance standards and preventative processes are in place.
• Engage with owners, Board members, and staff to identify improvement opportunities and drive service excellence.
• Implement training programs and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain quality service.
• Collaborate with shared services directors (Loss Prevention, HR, Accounting, Housekeeping) to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel/Property Management plus 4 years relevant experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree plus 2 years experience.
• Management license for condominiums, where applicable.
• Preferred experience in association or condominium management.
