Director of Site Selection (APAC)

About the role

The Director of Site Selection (APAC) will lead a team that drives global analytics, market research, and lease negotiations for large‑scale data centre sites supporting Oracle Cloud. This senior position shapes site strategy, ensures strong commercial terms, and aligns build specifications with Oracle’s technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Guide a cross‑functional team in market diligence, capacity planning, and lease execution from demand signal to general availability.
• Negotiate master service agreements, lease contracts, renewals, and amendments with data centre operators and stakeholders.
• Develop metro‑level strategies, conduct total cost of ownership analyses, and recommend optimal build or lease options.
• Coordinate with capacity planners, design, construction, legal, finance, security, and operations teams throughout each transaction.
• Prepare and present executive‑level reports and updates on performance metrics, risks, and timelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, multi‑disciplinary teams in real‑estate or data‑centre site selection.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and negotiation capabilities.
• Track record of delivering complex lease agreements on schedule and within budget.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical site specifications and commercial terms.
