Director / Sr. Director of Controlling (APAC)

About the role

Lumilens is seeking a senior finance leader to head the Controlling function across APAC. Based in Singapore, the Director / Sr. Director will build a scalable, audit‑ready controllership foundation to support rapid growth and a future US listing.

Key responsibilities

• Own group consolidation, monthly close, and management reporting for all APAC entities.
• Design, document, and execute the SOX program to ensure US listing readiness.
• Manage statutory reporting under SFRS, IFRS, and US GAAP, and handle technical accounting positions.
• Lead external auditor relationships and oversee the audit cycle.
• Oversee Singapore statutory filings with IRAS and ACRA, and ensure local tax compliance.
• Develop and manage in‑country controllers, starting with Thailand.
• Partner with supply‑chain and manufacturing leaders on cost accounting, inventory controls, and standard costing.
• Supervise intercompany accounting and transfer pricing.

Required profile

• CPA (Local CA, US CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) with 10–15 years of progressive finance and controllership experience.
• Hands‑on SOX experience covering design, documentation, and execution.
• Mandarin proficiency – both written and verbal.
• Strong technical accounting expertise in IFRS and US GAAP.
• Proven experience with statutory reporting, audit management, and multi‑entity consolidation.
