Director/Senior Director, Media Partnerships

About the role

ONE Championship is seeking a Director or Senior Director to lead its Media Partnerships function. This senior position will shape the strategy, distribution and monetisation of the company’s media rights across global broadcast and digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own the distribution and monetisation of ONE’s media rights portfolio across multiple platforms.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term growth strategies to increase revenue and reach.
• Lead end‑to‑end deal development, from prospecting and sourcing to negotiation and closing.
• Pitch to broadcasters, host workshops and meetings, and secure high‑impact partnerships.
• Present strategic proposals to senior executives both inside and outside the organisation.
• Identify new market opportunities, assess business cases and launch initiatives.
• Leverage an extensive network to build relationships and maximise partnership value.
• Set and monitor sales performance metrics, establish annual budget targets and manage client servicing for broadcast partners.
• Oversee content fulfilment, contract execution and renewal efforts in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and source potential clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 8‑10 years of experience in media rights, licensing or media sales.
• Proven track record of monetising content through licensing negotiations and strategic partnerships.
• At least 5 years in a senior licensing role within television or digital media, with exposure to strategy or consulting.
• Deep knowledge of the free‑to‑air TV landscape and strong local market contacts.
• Understanding of the digital media space and evolving trends.
• Highest level of professional integrity and ethics.
