About the role
The Doorman/Porter is the first point of contact for guests at a luxury hotel, ensuring a seamless and memorable arrival and departure experience. You will represent the brand’s standards of elegance while providing attentive, courteous service throughout each guest’s stay.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, assist with luggage, and manage arrivals and departures in a professional manner.
- Process operational needs such as opening doors, arranging transportation, and handling guest inquiries.
- Provide local area information and recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain accurate logs and complete required reports in a timely fashion.
- Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and safely move objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- No prior work experience required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Strong commitment to safety, confidentiality and professional appearance.
