ECM Portfolio Manager – APAC

About the role

DRW is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to expand its Equity Capital Markets (ECM) investment strategy across the APAC region. The role is hands‑on and revenue‑generating, combining risk‑taking responsibilities with business development and relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Position DRW as a top‑tier ECM investor in APAC.
• Establish and deepen relationships with private‑equity sponsors, equity advisors, corporates and state entities.
• Manage day‑to‑day ECM core operations and engage with equity syndicate desks across the region.
• Lead live deal engagement, market sounding and participation decisions within the ECM core mandate.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders on deal execution and aftermarket opportunities.
• Expand non‑standard transaction activity, including bilateral trades, club deals and bespoke ECM transactions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Portfolio Manager or senior investment professional in Equity Capital Markets.
• Demonstrated ability to generate revenue, take risk within a defined investment mandate, and develop strategic stakeholder relationships.
• Strong understanding of APAC equity markets and experience working with syndicate desks and private‑equity sponsors.
