Editor-in-Chief

About the role

We are seeking an Editor-in-Chief to shape Piper’s voice at the intersection of food, design, and lifestyle. Working closely with the co‑founders, you will build a content playbook from scratch and turn spice‑centric storytelling into a modern cultural movement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a holistic content strategy across social, website, e‑commerce and other platforms.
• Write and edit core editorial pieces, create a style guide, and ensure consistent brand voice.
• Own the email newsletter and brand blog, turning them into must‑read publications.
• Plan and coordinate creator collaborations and media partnerships in North America, Australia and Singapore.
• Guide community engagement in partnership with Customer Support.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate technical craftsmanship into compelling stories.
• Experiment with new communication formats such as magazines, podcasts or other channels.

Required profile

• Proven experience in food, lifestyle or high‑end consumer media.
• Hands‑on executor who can also design scalable workflows for freelancers and partners.
• Deep cultural fluency in design, culinary arts and global lifestyle trends.
• Ability to work closely with founders and product teams.
