Education Officer (Mathematics)

About the role

Raffles Girls’ School is seeking a dedicated Education Officer to teach Mathematics. The role involves designing forward‑looking curriculum, fostering high‑ability learners, and contributing to a collaborative teaching community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons that encourage inquiry and leadership.
• Design curriculum that connects Mathematics with other disciplines.
• Mentor and coach students, acting as a role model and facilitator of learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and professional learning.
• Participate in school events and initiatives that support student development.

Required profile

• Strong belief in nurturing the whole child and confidence in every student’s ability to learn.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area.
• Post‑Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Mathematics and openness to interdisciplinary connections.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
