EIS Kindergarten Teacher Assistant

About the role

The English International Stream (EIS) Kindergarten Teacher Assistant works under the EIS Coordinator to support teachers in delivering a safe, nurturing, and inquiry‑based learning environment for children aged 2‑5 years.

Key responsibilities

• Support children’s physical, emotional and social well‑being throughout the day.
• Assist teachers during learning activities, routines, transitions and workshops.
• Prepare, organise and store materials needed for classroom projects and activities.
• Supervise arrivals, departures, meals, snack times, breaks, nap periods and school outings.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of classrooms, shared spaces and equipment.
• Help children with personal hygiene, changing clothes and hand‑washing.
• Participate in EIS Open House visits and parent tours as required.

Required profile

• Experience working with young children (2‑5 years old).
• Diploma or qualification in early childhood education is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a classroom team.
• Professional discretion, sound judgement and capacity for initiative.
