Electrical Engineer (Design/Tender)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic M&E engineering team in Singapore. The role focuses on preparing tender drawings, performing load calculations and supporting the design of power distribution and related building services systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical tender drawings for power distribution, lighting, card access, CCTV, IT systems and lightning protection.
• Perform load calculations and assist in distribution board (DB) design.
• Develop tender specifications and technical documentation in line with industry standards.
• Review electrical design drawings, including MV/LV systems, earthing, UPS, standby generators, lighting and small power.
• Evaluate design submissions and technical proposals from consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Address technical queries from project stakeholders in consultation with consultants.
• Coordinate with architects, civil, structural and mechanical teams to ensure integrated design delivery.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical design, tender preparation or consultancy for building services or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical building services systems and relevant industry standards.
• Ability to perform electrical load calculations and review technical drawings.
