Electrical Technician / Testing Engineer

About the role

Our client in the M&E engineering sector is looking for a motivated Electrical Technician / Testing Engineer to support electrical inspection, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning activities across various projects in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical inspection, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning works.
• Assist with testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct site inspections and verify installations against approved drawings and specifications.
• Perform electrical testing using appropriate test equipment and accurately record results.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults and technical issues.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and single‑line diagrams.
• Prepare testing, commissioning and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and project teams to ensure smooth execution of electrical works.
• Ensure all works comply with safety requirements and relevant electrical standards.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in electrical, M&E, testing & commissioning or maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
