End User Technology Support Specialist

About the role

Join a global investment management firm’s agile technology support unit as a Level II specialist. You will act as the primary bridge between business users and the broader IT ecosystem, ensuring seamless operation of end‑user devices and services.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues on Windows 11, VDI/Citrix, macOS, iOS, Android, and enterprise communication tools (IP telephony, Zoom, Slack).
• Perform hands‑on hardware tasks including PC/laptop provisioning, system deployment, and workspace moves/adds/changes.
• Assist with basic network and server‑room maintenance activities.
• Log, track, and manage service requests using ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams and external vendors to escalate and resolve technical bottlenecks.
• Partner with high‑profile business units and front‑office stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technology recommendations, and deliver user training sessions.
• Serve as the local technology advocate, aligning regional management with international IT support strategies.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in desktop support, end‑user computing or service‑desk environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to support senior executives.
• Experience supporting front‑office financial services, trading floors or market‑data applications (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet) is a plus.
• Track record of leading minor IT projects or delivering technical training is desirable.
