Engineering Assistant

About the role

You will report to a Manufacturing Lead and work on Jurong Island, Singapore. This is a one‑year contract position with the possibility of conversion to a permanent role.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily autonomous maintenance of Automated Glue and Thermal Paste Machines.
• Perform daily self‑tests on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and troubleshoot line issues.
• Help with monthly maintenance and line change‑overs for different product fixtures.
• Support daily operational issues in Final Assembly, including testers, assembly lines, and machines.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on fixtures and calibration checks on torque drivers.
• Implement improvements in Final Assembly manufacturing processes and automation modifications.
• Assist with equipment setup, safety buy‑off, and operational readiness.
• Create work instructions, process documentation, and support corrective and preventive maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Advanced Diploma/Diploma/ITE in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Candidates without prior work experience are welcome.
• Willingness to support night‑shift work when needed.

Required skills

• Proficient in equipment installation and machine troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of C++, C#.NET and PLC programming (advantageous).
