Engineering Lecturer – Project Management & Construction

About the role

The School of Engineering is seeking a dedicated Lecturer to lead teaching and research activities in engineering project management and related built‑environment disciplines. You will guide students through curriculum development, classroom instruction, and real‑world project experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate student learning and mentor final‑year projects.
• Develop and deliver curriculum and Continuing Education & Training (CET) lessons.
• Engage with industry partners for internships, consultancy, and R&D projects.
• Promote outreach activities with secondary schools, teachers, parents, and universities.

Required profile

• Qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Facilities Management or a related built‑environment field.
• Relevant experience managing engineering or construction projects, including planning, scheduling, resource management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong industry connections in project management or facilities management.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or CAPM are preferred.
• Passion for teaching and interacting with young learners.
